Leather Bag-Making Class - June 17-21
Learn to make luxury leather handbags!
An immersive five-day studio experience to learn how to design and make luxury leather handbags. No experience is required, as you’ll be guided each step of the way, so all ages 12 and up are welcome, making it a perfect experience for young students with a passion for creativity.
Students will learn all the basics, from choosing the right leather for their projects to using patterns for cutting and designing handbags and sewing techniques by hand and using industrial sewing machines.
At the end of this week-long course/camp, students will walk away with their own handmade handbag and small accessory, along with the knowledge and skills to continue their craft well after.
All supplies, leather selections, lunches, and snacks are included.
Class Details
Location: Fashion Factory @ Stanley Market
Length: Five Days
Daily Schedule: 9am Start - 4pm Wrap / Noon Lunch Break
Bag: Luxury Tote + Accessory
Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate - No experience required
Age Level: All Ages 10 and up are welcome (students will need to work with adhesives, blades, and industrial machinery)
